Saphron is a creative brand and design studio founded by international artist and entrepreneur Sapna Sharon. Known more formally as Saphron Atelier, the studio represents the evolution of over 15 years of work across fine art, fashion, and surface design.
With a background in painting and illustration, Sapna naturally gravitated toward integrating fine art into design. Over time, her creative direction shifted from creating wearable fashion to developing the art behind it — exploring the intersection of painting, fashion illustration, and print development, always with an emphasis on emotional connection and timeless aesthetics.
Saphron is more than a studio — it’s a philosophy: that art should be felt, not just seen. That beauty is quiet. And that textiles can carry meaning, mood, and movement when rooted in something real.
Today, Saphron creates original artworks and surface designs, some developed through the artist’s fine-art practice, Texturetones, and others created specifically for design and licensing. These works are developed into textile collections and surface pattern designs for fashion, interiors, and lifestyle brands.
Through licensing and collaborations, Sapna partners with brands seeking originality, depth, and artistic integrity, creating designs that leave a lasting impression.
